Fave records of 2012

Recently I was asked by the blog 'Timber and Steel' to write a coupla lines about my favourite record of 2012. I found it really tough to choose this year. Last year it was definitely Kurt Vile's 'Smoke Ring for My Halo', the year before it was 'High Violet' by The National. Eventually, after much deliberation, I picked 'Something' by Chairlift...

A good song

My friend Atlas B Salvesen has just released a great new tune that I wanted to share... It's the first single from his forthcoming debut EP....

Well folks, after 18 months of writing, recording, tweaking, sweating, agonising, teeth-gnashing, back-aching, overthinking, freaking out, obsessing, bleeding and crying (ok, maybe not those last two) - my debut album is finally released!

My Sydney album launch

Excited to announce that on Thursday September 6th, I'll be doing a very special show at The Vanguard in Newtown to launch my debut album 'About Monsters' (which is due to be released the next day - Friday September 7).

Opening the show will be Jess Chalker and La'i.
